Lots of Travel

As we work our way through the next month the AlumnIQ team will be traveling to campuses far and wide. This will make our response time to tickets in the latter half of each week a hair slower than what you may be accustomed to.

Please bear with us, as this is (a) normal for this time of year, (b) us being fully present where we are, and (c) just a stop or two before it's your turn to have our primary attention.

Everything will be responded to and we look forward to celebrating with your campus community soon!

Recap: Drexel Alumni Weekend

Drexel's alumni weekend (their 8th with AlumnIQ) started with welcome dinners for the esteemed Golden Dragons and capped off with Drexel After Dark at the beautiful PA Academy of Fine Arts! Onsite operations across multiple locations were well executed every step of the way.

One novel comms choice was to use our scheduled text message service for reminders before the weekend. One went out to remind everybody about the cancellation deadline. Another was sent right after we re-sent the confirmation emails to remind folks to bring them along to check in. It seemed to work - lines were nonexistent. With the imminent release of email capability we're sure they'll pump even more messages out next spring.

Recap: Gatekeeper Upgrades!

Getting logged in and on the right event for Gatekeeper is now a scan-and-go solution using a new feature we call the iqKey.

Configure ahead of time for each event per the docs and you won't have a single panicky phone call (about this, anyway!). While we were in there we made the screen _way_ less sensitive to sloppy swipes and taps - which should also bring considerable relief.

Those of you who have been around the block with us a few times know we like to do periodic debriefs to make sure our work is in parallel with yours. To make those more effective, we've assembled an agenda for those meetings. We'll always send it out with the calendar invite but if you're curious what we'll cover, feast your eyes on this!
