We're almost there! |
So close to done for the season. Next week's newsletter will be a season recap, how the new features really helped this spring, and what's in the works for the summer 24 release. That we're starting to refer to them the same way Salesforce names their releases should be a pretty good hint... |

Carleton Reunion |
Amy is easily in the top 10% of all AlumnIQ users when it comes to finding every feature and making it useful. Rarely do we ship something without Amy being among the first to take it for a spin and help find that last 5% of functionality to really settle it in. |
Thus was the case yet again with this year's Carleton Reunion. Within hours of the upgraded email and text messaging tools announcement dropping, she was in there scheduling comms to go out throughout their weekend. |
And you know what the best part was? Out of the 24 text message blasts and 17 emails, not one complaint that there were too many (editor's note: if you'll excuse me, I have a hat to eat). She's also a leading-edge user of our storefront module as a place to solicit tips for her student workers. Great idea! |
Amy's role as power user has been amazing to watch. After the first year she decided she was comfortable enough self-operating our gear and has ably managed it ever since. We've backed her up remotely but her thorough preparation and testing of everything ahead of time is an excellent example for all -- including us! |
Save a Spotted Cow for me |
Lawrence Reunion |
Shana, Jamie and their I'll-help-with-whatever-you-need team welcomed alumni and guests to a reunion filled with beautiful weather and lots to do. They started the weekend off strong with the Alumni Awards Celebration Dinner, and checked in 36% of their guests in the first 4 hours! |
The largest crowd they had was the one ready and waiting to get in the doors well ahead of time, and due to a fun tutorial video that was posted to their Facebook page, everyone knew how to find their registration and the line was gone in 10 minutes! We also loved their lanyard flair station. |
After shutdown on Saturday night the LU team introduced Christine to the Viking Room (VR to those in the know) so she could get a taste of the really fun culture at Lawrence. If only we were closer to Appleton we'd be hanging out with Matt's team a whole lot more frequently! |

Milton Academy |
Ken's penultimate stop of the spring was Milton Academy. We've had a delightful engagement with Milton and learned a lot about what supporting a private K-12 school requires of us. The resources are different and the student workers are younger, but the purpose and vibe of the reunion is very much the same as our higher ed customers. And it works! |
For those of us who were public school kids it's eye opening to see how eagerly excited people are to come back to their high school. If we're perfectly honest it makes us just a tiny bit jealous! |
Sagal, Kathleen, Molly, and Liz - thanks for being such willing and happy partners. See you again soon! |
